The Educator Training Programme (ETP) is both a training programme and an assessment for educators. It focuses on developing fundamental skills to deliver WSET courses effectively.
We explore how to use the educational materials produced by WSET to progress students’ knowledge and skills to the target level. Ultimately, we want educators to give students the best chance of passing their WSET exams.
On the ETP, we do this by observing candidates delivering micro-sessions in theory topics and tasting. This allows candidates to practice how to use session plans, PowerPoints, tasting samples, and other classroom resources to achieve the learning outcomes that we’re aiming for.
Upon passing the assessment, candidates will be awarded Certified Educator status. The ETP is run directly and exclusively by WSET.
